~ I went to Eragon with Laura (for the second time).
~ Eragon was better the second time.
~ Spent the night at Laura's and watched Law & Order: SVU all night long (and one episode of Monk).
~ Spent my Best Buy giftcards. Bought tonsandtons of fun stuff.
~ Made three icons and four backgrounds. Let's see... ICONS? Okay good, I was thinking the same thing.

I started watching a couple different series recently, I might as well give my thoughts on them. Just to warn everyone, most of them aren't shows that started recently because I'm always too busy to watch something when I first download it. You have been warned (of what?)
Asatte no Houkou (あさっての方向。)
I've seen the first two episodes of this show, and basically, or as far as I can tell, it has no purpose. Karada, a little girl, and Shoko, a grown woman, have switched bodies. Karada is now a teenager and Shoko is a child. All that happens in the first and second episode is Karada takes a bath and cries a lot. I really don't want to continue watching, but if I get bored one day then maybe... Black Blood Brothers (ブラック・ブラッド・ブラザーズ)
Wheeee! A show about vampires! I love the main characters of this one, especially the two vampires (the other is a regular human, but I have love for her too). Taking place in the future, vampires and humans live in harmony, for the most part anyways. In the series vampires come from differing bloodlines, and if you can prove which bloodline you belong to, you can go to a place called the "Special Zone," which I assume is a city or some kind of haven for vampires. It's got lots of action, and it seems poised to become pretty angsty, and I've got all 12 episodes, so I'll keep watching and keep you posted. Sumomomo Momomo ~Chijou Saikyou no Yome~ (すもももももも～地上最強のヨメ～)
It has possibly the most insane name of any anime ever, besides maybe Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, which has similar title now that I see them next to each other. There aren't any other similarities though, unless you find Bo endlessly hilarious. I laughed out loud at least 10 times during the first episode, which is as much as I've seen so far. I can tell there'll be amazing amounts of fanservice and moments that make me wonder if this show is illegal, but I'll definitely keep watching. All you need to know is that Momoko, who looks like she's in middle school and never wears any shoes, is crazy-good at martial arts. Oh and she wants to have a baby with Koushi, a high school guy from another clan. Oh wow. I don't think I can do it justice with just a description. It is seriously (Siriusly) hilarious. Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi (天保異聞 妖奇士)
Another one I've only seen the first episode of. This show is animated by Bones (who did Hagaren) so you know it's got to be beautiful. It's also being shown at 6PM every Saturday, thought to be the best TV timeslot, so you know it's got to have some kind of potential. It really doesn't disappoint on either of those counts; the animation is flawless and the art is amazing. The character designs are amazing, although I don't like the main character's that much. By the time the episode was over however, it had grown on me a bit. It's directed by Nishikiori Hiroshi, who directed Azumanga Daioh, so I'm not sure what to expect. I've been rambling about the staff list, but the plot is really what seems amazing. It takes place in feudal Japan. Essentially, there are monsters and Ryuudou Yukiatsu has the power to kill them. That's really all I'm going to say because I need to see te second episode to really understand parts of the first. Apparently these monsters called "Youi" are attacking parts of Japan. There was mention of samurai so I'm pretty excited to see where this one goes.
I was going to review Yakitate Japan, Mai-Otome Zwei, and Excel Saga, but I'm too lazy to type any more. I'll do those three in one of my next posts.
